It works fully offline. No account, no internet, no waiting.

How Tuning Works

Pick a string on screen, pluck it, and turn the peg until the dial centres and the string glows green with a gentle buzz. Tap any string to hear its reference tone if you would rather tune by ear. The chromatic engine reads whatever note it hears, so it also handles a string that is a long way off pitch.

Features

• Real-time chromatic pitch detection through your microphone

• Large needle dial showing the detected note and the cents offset (±)

• The four ukulele strings as tappable targets that light up when in tune

• Tap a string to play its reference tone

• Standard GCEA ukulele tuning always included

• Haptic buzz the moment a string lands in tune

• Works entirely offline, with no sign-up

• Warm wood-grain design that is easy on the eyes

For Every Uke

Soprano, concert and tenor ukuleles all use standard GCEA tuning, which is included from the first launch. Baritone players and anyone tuning ukulele strings to low G or a slack-key voicing will find those in Pro. Whether it is your first C chord or a well-worn tenor, the tuner keeps up.

Privacy

Audio is analysed on your device in real time to detect pitch. It is never recorded, saved, or sent anywhere. The microphone is the only permission the app asks for.
